Our Story
Northeastern Paint Supply opened in 1959 and became the oldest and largest independently-owned decorating retailer in Michigan's Tri-Cities. Everything else in the Northeastern Group of Companies grew outward from this counter.
What began as paint is now most of a finished room. Benjamin Moore® paint and stain at every location, Flooring America® floor coverings, custom Hunter Douglas® window treatments, lighting, wallpaper and fireplace accessories, with high-performance industrial coatings for the trade. Two of our stores carry their own names for local reasons: Frankenmuth trades as Northeastern Interiors, and Commerce Township as North Cromwell Paint by Northeastern.
The reason people drive past closer stores is the staff. Color matching is done on the spot, including matching a stain someone last bought twenty years ago, and contractor pricing is available everywhere.
