Resinous floors sit alongside both. Every one of our stores carries epoxy and floor coating products, and for a garage, workshop, basement or plant floor that is usually the right answer rather than anything rolled out of a gallery. If the floor has to take traffic, chemicals or a forklift, start there.
All of it is staffed by people who will tell you when the cheaper option is the right one. Bring the room dimensions, the traffic it takes and any pets, and you will leave with something that suits all three.
